Camera gear is heavier than it looks, and most affordable bags ignore that entirely
Here's something I notice constantly when people show me their setup. They've spent carefully on a body and a couple of lenses, and then bought a bag chosen almost entirely on interior padding ā with two thin straps and nothing else holding it on.
The maths doesn't work. A DSLR with a couple of lenses is dense weight in a small volume, which is the hardest kind of load to carry well. It's all sitting low and close, pulling directly on your shoulders, and after two hours of walking a location you're aching in a way that quietly shortens your shoot.

There's an included rain cover, which I always look for and which so many bags treat as an optional extra. Weather is the fastest way to end a shoot, and a cover that lives with the bag is one you'll actually have when the sky turns.
My honest read: this is a bag that put its budget into the things that matter when you're carrying real weight for real hours. If you've been finishing shoots early because your shoulders gave out before your battery did ā that's a fixable problem, and this is a very reasonable way to fix it. Take a look before your next one.
