"AntiGravity" is a ridiculous name and I have to admit the pack is extraordinary

I want to be sceptical about this. I really do. Naming a mesh harness after a physics phenomenon it does not perform is exactly the sort of thing that makes me put a product down. And yet — every serious hiker I know who has carried an Atmos AG under real weight says the same thing, in the same slightly startled tone.

Here's what it's actually doing. The suspended harness is one continuous piece of mesh running from the shoulders through to the hip belt, so the load wraps you rather than pressing on three separate contact points. Weight spreads across a much larger surface area, and the pack breathes because there's a gap the whole way down your back. With 65L of multi-day kit on board, that difference isn't subtle. Excellent heavy-load ventilation is not a phrase people use lightly about a full expedition pack.

The fit systems are the other half of the story. Adjustable torso length matches the harness to your frame, and the Fit-on-the-Fly hip belt lets you extend the padding to your actual hips — which matters enormously, because a hip belt that doesn't wrap correctly transfers nothing and just becomes decorative webbing. Add hydration compatibility, a sleeping-bag compartment at the base, a removable floating lid for when you want to go lighter, a large stretch front pocket for a wet tent fly, and multiple compression straps to keep the whole load stable.

So: I still think the name is silly, and I'd still tell you to try the torso adjustment properly before your first big trip rather than on the trail. But if you're stepping up to multi-day trips and you want the pack that makes 15 kilos feel organised rather than punishing, this is the benchmark everything else gets measured against.
